Home Improvements

To protect each individual homeowner’s rights and values, it is necessary that any homeowner considering improvements and/or change to their property or dwelling, submit a Property Modification Application to the Pecan Grove POA for planned improvements and/or changes.

Changes not submitted or approved by the resident; the PGPOA has the right to request the homeowner remove the improvement and/or change the property back to original condition.

When making changes to your property you will need to complete all required information in the Property Modification Application, some modifications, depending on complexity, may require samples or detail drawings before a decision can be delivered.  The ACC Committee will normally review and respond to your request within 7 to 10 business days but again, depending on complexity of the request, the ACC Board may require up to 30 days to approve or deny.   Applications denied by the ACC Committed may be appealed to the POA Board for review.

Please note: The PGPOA covenants do not allow contractors to post advertisements in the yard, tree or home prior to, during or post construction. We ask that you inform your contractor of this policy and request they remove any signs or banners advertising their company or services.

You have two ways to submit your request, manually or online via the website.  We suggest submitting online for faster turn around.

1. Manual Submission – Access to the manual form which can be completed and turned in to the office at 1305 FM 359, Suite B, can be found in the monthly “News in a Nutshell” or

2. Online Submission Preferred Method.  Please Note:  Once you complete all information in the online form and select done, you will be prompted to attach any necessary documents or drawings required for the ACC Committee to make a determination on your request.   You will need your “Section, Block & Lot#” before you get started, if you don’t know it, simply type in your address in the field on the left side of this page and your information will be displayed under Account/No/Section, for example 001-002-003.  Once you have this just click on the box below to get started.
